Ahhhh, the joys of a 4-day weekend. I was about as lazy as possible this weekend. We went to our adopted Jewish family's house for Thanksgiving (they have adopted us and invite us over for all the major holidays). Every time we go over there, they have a TON of food. This was certainly no exception. They said this was probably the most food they have ever had at their house. We were comfortably full after the appetizers, and then there was roasted turkey, deep fried turkey, ham, filet mignon, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberries...not to mention an entire table full of desserts. It was a veritable feast. Sarah had to work on Friday, so I spent most of the day doing nothing. We've ordered a new computer, and one of the three tracking numbers said we'd get it on Friday. What we got was 1 huge box that contained nothing but a keyboard. I have no idea why they sent it in such a big box. It barely fit in my car (I had to go to the FedEx office to pick it up). Saturday and Sunday I sat around, watched some tv, played around on the computer, watched the first disc of Firefly, cooked some food, ate some food...very lazy weekend. Now I'm back at work, and since there's a board meeting this week, it will probably be a bit chaotic for a few days. A little chaos never hurt anyone though. The rest of the computer should arrive today, I have MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) classes Tuesday and Thursday morning, and it's a drill weekend, so I guess I'm glad I had 4 days to be lazy since I don't get to rest much this coming weekend. I'll write more later, gotta go set up the board room for a pre-board meeting.
